Understanding to the simple

I wonder sometimes if we are doing a disservice to the Word when we try to over analyze the scriptures? "The unfolding of Your words gives light;..." I reserve most of my Bible reading to "Studying" the words. I don't spend enough time just reading the Words and letting God give my "simple" mind understanding. I am reminded of the "Sharing the Gospel.." study we did a year ago when they pointing out the power of the Words. Reminding us to let the Words do the talking in sharing the Gospel. I think this might just be true for us a "older" Christians as well... The Bible is an amazing book, nothing else like on earth... Stacy
